EVER WANT TO BE A DIRTBAG?

The Dirtbags are an eclectic group of outdoor enthusiasts unafraid to get mud or blood on their new white shoes. This group loves to be outside and wants to take that passion to the next level by doing some good in the world.

The Dirtbags pledge to use all membership dues to facilitate outdoor events and activities to create opportunities for everyone to hit the trail.

This isn’t some new-age hippie bullshit. These are real adventurers doing good shit!

Please email (info@wpackevents.com) or text (406) 396-5880 the interim executive director, with any questions.

The first annual meeting will be held on October 5th during the Kentucky Trail Fest.

Dirtbagging: It's a lifestyle that prioritizes outdoor adventure over traditional values like stability and financial security.

A DIRTBAG IS BORN!

This organization will operate like a non-profit, with all membership dollars returning to doing good. Wolf Pack Adventures will host the website and facilitate the operation until it is strong enough to stand independently. Other than minor web hosting costs and transaction fees, we will not take any of the dues. Our newly appointed treasurer, Dirtbag member Zach Bihlman, will manage the account. Financials will be presented at each board meeting (meetings will be held on Zoom).

We will appoint an interim board until the membership grows. We hope to appoint board members (for the 2-year term) at the first annual meeting (October 5: Kentucky Trail Fest). Board meetings (open to the public: Zoom) will be held bi-monthly starting in August. The annual meeting location will be determined at the January meeting.

The goal of the group is threefold:

One: Promote and provide everyone with access to outdoor/fitness activities. Example: Provide busing for inner city kids to access entry to a trail event.

Two: Provide ongoing recreational events that raise funds to promote and improve the quality of our outdoor spaces. Example: Host an event to raise money for trail projects in our state parks.

Three: Provide community and philanthropy through civic engagement activities based in a recreational setting. Example: The annual meeting is held in Traverse City, Michigan. The group runs the Traverse City 50, and we conduct a beach cleanup day. We can leverage club membership to provide club discounts to other events.

The board will determine the actual goals and the yearly goals at the annual board meeting.

Wolf Pack Adventures will be a business member ($15 a month or $150 annually) but not own the organization. As things develop, we will strive to create a non-profit.

Become a Dirtbag: It can only go up from here!

Note: This "membership" is not related to the Wolf Pack Membership (Pack Pass) and does not include entry (at this time) to any Wolf Pack event. It is the brainchild of Wolf Pack founders but is not an affiliate or a profit driver for the company.
